We are proud to be part of Freundeskreis Feldbahn’s 50th anniversary celebration of Schalke Loco 69492 produced in 1971. It was used from ’71 to ’83 in a cement plant in Lauffen, southern Germany. After years in service it was parked outside as a museum piece in Germany and later the Netherlands. In 2013 Freundeskreis Feldbahn (a club of train enthusiasts) brought it back to Germany and carefully restored the unit. With hard work and dedication the Schalke Locomotive looks as good as new and is driving again since 2020 on their private track system.
